Congratulations to Nucor-Yamato Steel (NYS) for winning the 2018 Silver Maintenance Reliability Achievement Award for pressurizing their transformer vault using Self-Maintaining Air Cleaners!
The Maintenance Reliability Technology Committee has established the AIST Reliability Achievement Award to recognize iron and steel producing companies for reliability improvements and achievements that can be demonstrated as unique or first in the industry. Only iron and steel producers can receive these awards.
Jared Handley of NYS accepted the award in Pittsburgh at the annual Maintenance Committee meeting after presenting the transformer vault pressurization project using SMAC units.
